Amateur video of the incident was captured and posted to Instagram.

DETROIT, MI — When Detroit police received a call about an armed carjacking in the middle of the street on Saturday, little did they know it was actually fake — the stunt being filmed for a music video.

When officers arrived at the scene, they witnessed two men with red bandanas storm out of a Jeep with guns, rushing to an Aston Martin in front of them with one of them pulling on the door handle in what appeared to look like a real attempted carjacking.

One officer fired three shots after reportedly seeing a weapon pointed at him briefly during the act. However, all bullets missed.

According to police, the men did not have a film permit and all of them were arrested for charges unrelated to the incident.
